Hiking & Trekking Crater Rim Stampol Start Senaru 2 Days

Hiking and camping at the crater rim Stampol, 2450 m above sea level, starts from Senaru for 2 days and 1 night. This trip is suitable for beginner hikers and serves as an alternative trek to Rinjani Mountain if other treks on Rinjani are closed.

This trip is open daily, as it doesn’t follow Mount Rinjani National Park regulations but rather operates under the policies of Teres Genit village in Senaru, Bayan. Hiking and camping at the crater Rim Stampol is legal, with a permit from the local village government.

The itinerary for the 2-day, 1-night trip to the Stampol crater rim is as follows:

1. Arrival day: We will come to pick you up within Lombok Island and then transfer you to a hotel in Senaru. Meet with us for an explanation of the trip, and then spare time.
2. Day 1 trek: After breakfast at the hotel at 8.00 am, we will come to pick you up and transfer you to the gate of the Stampol crater rim for 30 minutes. After checking in and registering your name at 9.00 am, start the hike with our guide and porter to the crater rim for 6 hours, including a stop for lunch and rest. Arrive at the crater rim, take a rest, enjoy the panorama of Mount Rinjani, have dinner and sleep in a tent.
3. Day 2 trek: after enjoying the panorama of sunrise and breakfast at 8.00 am, start down to the village for 4-5 hours, including a stop for lunch and rest. Arriving at the village, we will transfer you back to Senaru, and if you want to visit the waterfalls, it is possible for a 2-hour trip. After the waterfalls, we will transfer you to your next destination on Lombok Island. Finish trip.

Price per person 165 USD for minimum 2 participant and for solo traveler 215 USD per person

Rinjani Trekking Rates Include:

1. Licensed and Experienced: Mountain Guide and Local Porter
2. One-night accommodation before the trek at a hotel in Senaru
3. All camping equipment: tents, sleeping bags, mattresses, pillows, cooking gear, and toilet tents.
4. All meals (3 times daily) + hot drink + mineral water + soft drink + fresh fruits on the mountain trip.
5. Transport picks up from Kuta Lombok, the airport, Mataram, Senggigi and Bangsal to Senaru and transfers the return. (extra cost from Selong Belanak 150,000 IDR and Sekotong area 300,000 IDR)
6. Entrance ticket: 100,000 IDR per person.
7. Extra service Visit the waterfall in Senaru if you arrive before 3.00 pm on arrival day.
