3 Days Segara Anak Lake

Trekking crater rim Senaru design to see amazing sunset and sunrise view from crater rim Senaru and unique Segara Anak Lake.

The trekking packages start from Senaru village and return in same trail. The trekking package not suitable for beginner or casual travelers, good stamina is needed and exercise before climbing, try 4 days for casual travelers.

Segara Anak Lake trekking route overview:

  1. Start from Senaru village to reach crater Rim Senaru enjoy amazing sunset and sunrise by Segara Anak view
  2. Walk down to Segara Anak lake, enjoy hot spring water and lake, overnight
  3. Return to crater rim Senaru, overnight at crater rim Senaru
  4. Return to Senaru village

Preparation before trekking on the day of arrival:

  • We will pick you up at Lombok airport or other key places then drop you off at your hotel in Senaru.
  • Get an explanation of the hiking trails such as walk duration, distance and some paths are a little dangerous on the trek route
  • Double check your day back pack

Trekking itinerary :

Day 1: Lunch and dinner will serve in the mountain

  1. Wake up at 6:30 am and get breakfast. Walk for 15 minutes to the Rinjani Trek Center Senaru to register.
  2. Around 08:00, start to walk through dense tropical forest rich in flora, bird life and variety of butterflies.
  3. A break we’ll take at Post 2 Montong SATAS shelter (1,500 m) for a cup of tea with some biscuits.
  4. Continue to trek up for 2 hours to Pos 3 Mondokan Lolak (2,000 m) for a break and lunch.
  5. Climb up to Senaru crater rim (2641m) for 2 hours. We will enjoy an incredible sunset over Mount Agung in Bali and the smoke from the new volcano on the edge of the lake and camp here for the night. Senaru crater has the most spectacular view after the peak.

Day 2. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will serve in the mountain

  1. Enjoy sunrise and breakfast by Segara Anak view
  2. Prepare walk down to the lake and hot water. Trek down to the lake steep and somewhat slippery, which takes 2.5 hours to reach.
  3. We stopped at the Lake side to rest. Here we can enjoy the view of the lake, swimming in the lake and bath in hot water can soothe away your aches and pains after a trip.
  4. Our porter we will prepare lunch for us.
  5. Leave the lake after lunch and climb back to Senaru crater rim (2641m) for 2.5 hours.
  6. We will camp here for the night at Senaru crater Rim, enjoy sunset

Day 3: Breakfast and lunch prepare in the mountain.

  1. After breakfast with a beautiful sunrise, we will leave Mount Rinjani descend to Senaru village through the rain forest. If we are lucky, we can see the rare black monkey.
  2. It takes 5 hours and we will take lunch along the way.
  3. Arrive at Senaru village (601 m) the Car will take you to your next destination.
