They taught us local phrases, shared stories, and checked in on how we were coping constantly. When I hit a wall at 3,000m on summit night, my guide stayed right with me, breathing with me, telling me “slowly slowly, you can”. That mental support got me to the top for sunrise. And the food! Toujours bienveillant, attentif et prêt à aider, il nous a aussi appris énormément sur la culture locale et la vie en Indonésie, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus enrichissante. Mention spéciale pour les repas : délicieux, faits avec des produits locaux, on s’est régalés à chaque instant !
